What is Akili?
Akili is a self-hostable, enterprise-grade AI workspace that brings together multi-model chat, a custom agent builder, a knowledge base with RAG, voice chat, Google Workspace integration, and an agent marketplace — all in one deployable platform.
Unlike consumer AI tools, Akili can run on your own infrastructure. Your data stays in your PostgreSQL database, your files in your blob storage, and your API keys encrypted at rest. Bring your own keys for any AI provider, or let users supply their own.
The name is Swahili for intelligence — and Kiswahili ships as a first-class interface language, alongside English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic.
